  1. I have a DVD that I’m trying to make a backup of and one of the VOB files is messed up. I use ISOBuster to extract the files and one vob will give me about 16 errors. I figured this will give me a few “glitches” in the move but I’m not worried about that. The problem is DVD Shrink will not read the files.

Is there a way to recreate the IFO files for the “new” vob file? I’ve looked at Ifoedit but didn’t know what to do with it in this situation.

    Thanks

Does this disc have something actually wrong with it? If so what I'm gonna suggest may not be much help. But if its just an error that seems to pop up only on this disc you might want to try ripping from another DVD drive if you have another, it sometimes will not rip some dvds with some drive, usually trying another drive (such as switching from your DVD-ROM to your Burner) helps.

As far as recreating the ifos, not sure if its possible or not. Maybe someone else knows.
