  1. I have some movies spanned across 2 or more cd's (XXX or LOTR2).
I would like to put them on DVD.
To do that, I have to extract them from cd (Isobuster or vcdgear).
After that, I have to demux them, resample the sound and mux them again.
The problems start with the demuxing.
    I use TMPGEnc for that.
CD1 of a movie works without any problems.
CD2 won't open properly in TMPGEnc (mpg tools-simple demux). It shows the audio stream, but not the vidoestream.
When I open it in normal demux or with bbdmux, i can demux the svcd into audio and video, but that's it. I can't do anything else with these 2 files in TMPGEnc.
The audio file is not supported.
I can resample it with Besweet, but I have to muliplex it afterwards, and I don't know af any other tool that can do that 4 me.

    Pleez help

Your source files are corrupt, either due to the media they were stored on (CDR), or the process that put them there. In either case, you will probably have to frameserve them to get anything of value back off of them.

Get the files off the CD-R however you can. Make sure they are named sequentially ( disk1.mpg, disk2.mpg, disk3.mpg, etc).

Open the first MPEG in DVD2AVI. It should automatically load the the others in the sequence. You can then save this as a project file, which can be loaded directly into TMPGenc, AVISynth/CCE, or you can convert it to a psuedo AVI with VFAPI. Any of these methods should help you get around the problems in the file.

Just make sure you check all there sections to ensure the audio and video stream is not missing/corrupt.

No worries. DVD2AVI is just a program name. It doesn't care if your MPEG is DVD compliant or not. Make sure you set your audio to DEMUX, or DECODE:

    Audio | Track Number: 1
    Audio | Channel Format: Auto
Audio | Dolby Digital: Decode or Demux

When you select FILE | SAVE, you can save it as either a project file, or an AVI. If you select a Project File, you should get an audio file from your MPEG saved to the same directory as your project file. If the audio in your MPEG is MP2, then it will save an MP2. If you set your Audio options to DECODE instead of DEMUX, then it will generate a WAV file instead.
