I'm unable to Demux a DL dvd. I've tried with PgcDemux and DvdDecrypter and the same thing happens: at 92% it stops, and though says "ok" the movie is only 92 % demuxed. I've loaded it in Ifo Edit and there I noticed the problem was at the layer breaking point. I guess it can be fixed with PgcEdit but have never used it and the guide doesn't really explain much for laymen... Any body can help? thx

  2. Can you play it past that 92% point? I've seen bad DVDs that I couldn't decrypt past the layer break. But I couldn't play them past the layer break either.

  4. It's already on the hard drive? What are you doing using DVD Decrypter then, if it's already on the hard drive? Anyway, if you want the audio and video, open the VOBs in DGIndex and Save Project and Demux Video to get the audio and video. The chapters can be gotten with PGCEdit if you need them, and the subs with VobSub Configure or SubRip, depending on what you're doing with this movie.

Trying to add some subs. I'll try but I really think there's something wrong authoring wise with the damn thing. I even tried FixVTS, and then it said it went all the way - 100% - but th efact is it had stopped int he exact same spot!

Once you load your file to PGCEdit, double click on a title. New window will open and one square under "seamless joint" will be Yellow and unchecked, just click on it, check mark will appear and yellow colour will disappear. That should take care of that.

I am too late, but it looks like you are doing more than just demuxing.

yes, but I do need demuxing it first. it seems you know you're way. I've noticed, in PgcEdit, there's a jump in ID (or cells) numbrers. the first go : 1/1, 1/2 ...... and then I have 2/1, 2/3, 2/4. I guess the 2 is because of the 2nd layer but shouldn't it go 2/1, 2/2, 2/3, 2/4? I tried renumbering but "2" wasn't an option.

dgindex worked! it got past the damn 92% point! thanks manono, if I don't find my way in PgcEdit I have an alternative. so now I only need to get the chapter with PgcEdit (hope it's simple enough!), 'cause I already have .srt file.

it didn't work with the check in PgcEdit - it was true it was checked but something else it had an "11" flag and the others had a "9". So maybe there's something "extra" wrong?

  9. To get the chapter list (celltimes.txt) from PGCEdit, open the DVD and double-click on the movie. At the bottom of the new screen hit the 'CellTimes.txt. box. You can choose the cell format depending on your authoring program. The default is for use in Muxman and IFOEdit. Save what it shows to a TXT file for use in your authoring program.

thanks a lot manono. Did it and it worked. I had one last problem -strangest of them all - the audio demuxed with DGIndex was read as short (92%) by Muxman. But I got past by stripping it with Ciler's AC3 Tool. Pheew! Thanks again for your time.
