Wha program do you transcode with? and what process cause some encoders do this very badly when loaded into Maestro.

There are even the way I do it a few that misbehave, but I just manually enter the chapers then and get them "close enough" and call it a day usually.

I am getting the same error! You must be using DVD2DVD-R and have "SCEANEST NT" selected on the first menu and in the SETTINGS tab have "author" or something like this checked (at work and don't have the program in front of me).

Maestro allows you to manully enter in the chapter points. You can look at what was created by chapter x-tractor or there is a .txt file in the directory that DVD2DVD-R created that contain the times for the chapters.

To enter the times manually just click on the "chapter bar" in the "movie" area and manually enter in the 10 or 20 chapter points.
