    Hey guys,

    Recently got myself a Cendyne A05 DVD burner, which of course has a built in CD Burner... Anyway... the last CD burner i had was an old Acer 4x.
    When i go to burn CDs with this one, using Nero.. when ever i go to do the actual burn process.. the CD will spin up and down up and down on and on, for a good 30 seconds...
    The old acer never did this...

    Tried other CDs, and it also does it with my DVD-RW i tried.

    I dont know if all faster burners do this... or something is wrong with mine...

    any ideas?

    yeah, my A05 does that too...before it starts burning, it'll spin for about 20-30 seconds, then start burning...don't really know why, but doesn't bother me too much
