  1. How to DVD to DVD-R with ifo edit or ifoupdate ?

Below are the content on the dvd

    Ex:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP 12'288
    VIDEO_TS.IFO 12'288
    VIDEO_TS.VOB 333'824
    VTS_01_0.BUP 59'392
    VTS_01_0.IFO 59'392
    VTS_01_0.VOB 8'192
    VTS_01_1.VOB 373'643'520 trailer or other
    VTS_01_2.VOB 473'631'232 trailer or other
    VTS_01_3.VOB 104'785'920 trailer or other
    VTS_02_0.BUP 88'064
    VTS_02_0.IFO 88'064
    VTS_02_0.VOB 59'379'712 main menu
    VTS_02_1.VOB 1'073'436'672 main movie
    VTS_02_2.VOB 1'073'549'312 main movie
    VTS_02_3.VOB 1'073'502'208 main movie
    VTS_02_4.VOB 1'073'371'136 main movie
    VTS_02_5.VOB 1'073'555'456 main movie
    VTS_02_6.VOB 810'952'704 main movie

First i resize the main movie vobs to new vts_02_1.vob to vts_02_4.vob
with audio and text. (and gets 4 new files that are 3.4Gb all together)

But how to keep the other above original menus and extras with ifo edit or ifoupdate ?

If you answer, please keep it very simple cause i´m a newbie.

Thanks goes to all who helps me in this matter.

ok, so if i understand you right you have the movie encoded down to the right size?

if you have DVD Maestro this will work for you
    if not sorry

take the .m2v and .ac3 files you ripped and encoded
and load them up in DVDMaestro

also use chapter xtractor to rip the chapters

load all of this in DVDMaestro and compile

then use ifoupdate to align the new VOB's

after that you can burn and everything is perfect as it should be

    this works for me

    flawlessly

but without DVDMaestro you are out of luck as I have found no other successful way to do it

and as I dont believe in Warez I can't help you there

    sorry

This looks like post that I just replied to. Do you have any guide for these steps ? Or did you use some guide from different site ?

I used a combination of methods and then a little ingenuity

  5. Same as when I was trying to convert DivX to DVD. I used about 5 different guides (one step from each). Do you mind to create some simple Step-by-Step guide ? Something like this ...

How to author with menu and chapters without re-encoding ?
