Use the search function. The answer has been posted before.
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway. -
you cannot do it, because the format of the avi file need to have a begining and an ending. but you can copy the file you are downloading to another directory and use DivXFix (can find it on tools). sometimes i used in this way an it works for me.

If you want to just view the video (no audio) ,you can load in into TMPGE > File > Preview

Ok it may be hard to search for my previous post so here's some help.
Copy the dat file so you can let the download continue. You can copy it while it's downloading.
Open virtualdub and in the file open menu when the dir opens click on the box that says "Popup extended open option" and then choose the copied .dat file in the directory window. A new box will open.
If its an mpeg choose accept partial mpeg stream. If its an avi it will reconstruct the index automatically but don't select the "redrive key frames" option because that's slower. When you press preview under the file menu don't play with the video since you did not re-drive the key frames the search will be slow. Let it play when you are satisfied close vdub.
That's it.
If its a busted download near the end and you want to keep it then do the redrive key frames and resave the avi.
Enjoy!!!!There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway. -
