Hi!
Just changed OS from win2k to winXP.
When I try to watch anything through the TV-out, it wont display.
The desktop shows fine on my TV-set, it's just the window with the movie that is black.
I've tried different gfx drivers, different movies, different formats, different players. Allways the same.
I've tried fullscreen and changing the resolution, no good.
As i said, the desktop shows fine, and games I play, but not the actual movie. It plays fine on my monitor...
It all worked perfectly in win2k.
HELP PLZ!!!

Try this:
Display Properties, Adapter Settings, Advanced. You should have a "Displays" tab where you can choose your primary display. It appears that you have PC monitor set as your primary display. Change that so the TV is the primary display. This should work, but in case it doesn't please let people know what kind of graphics card you have.

But now its not showing on the monitor, but thats ok.
Thanxs alot.
Wierd that movies displayed fine on both monitor and tv at the same time just fine in w2k.

If you want to view teh movie on both TV and PC monitor then you should make both displays "Primary".

Using Nvidia's 40.41 that is not possible(?).
If I set one display as primary, the other one changes to secondary.
Anyway, thanx. -
Thats wierd... I have this problem in w2k.
And what is really wierd is that it worked a while ago and now it doest.
And there must be another solution than changing the TV to primary
Hmm... if I think about it, I have installed Service Pack 3.... maybe that is the problem here...
will tell you later it that solved the problem or not -
tv.tool 6.8 didnt solve it...
...but changing the TV to primary did. But now the player is black on my monitor instead....
So I will go for this till I have time to uninstall SP3
