I'm trying to take a logo out of a video file. However the area comes out all blurred and very noticable. I'm not sure If I had all the settings right but it shouldn't be so blurred with an alpha-blended Logo.

Have you read Hilljack's tutorial on DeLogo? It's well done.http://hilljack.vampirez.com/delogo_00.htm
DeLogo works best on semi-transparent, stationary logos---Something like the Disney Channel logo, or AMC. If the logo has opaque areas, blending occurs to obscure it, making a blurred area where the logo was. Unfortunately there isn't anything---yet---that can fix opaque or animated logos satisfactorily.
You might want to try manual sampling with a few bright frames and a few dark frames (pure black & pure white seem to work the best). I know if you do auto sampling and there are segments in your avi where the logo does not appear, it is unsatisfactory.
Tweaking DeLogo is time consuming. Oddly, I'm having particular problems with Black & White material---probably my inexperience.
