I have several large HD avi video files on my hard drive and I want to remove a text logo in the bottom right corner of the screen. I downloaded virtualdub and the DeLogo filter with no problems. I followed the directions as best as I could but get stuck at the same place no matter what different things I try. When I try to load the .bmp file with red over the logo letters I get an error message that says the file is corrupted or not a .bmp file. I have triple checked the file and all is well. I even tried renaming the file but it did not work.
Do I need to rip(?) the HD 1920 X 1080 avi files to regular size avi first? Any help is needed.
THX
Mike

I've never tried using the DeLogo filter on a 1920x1080 source but it should work at that resolution. Are you sure your BMP file is exactly 1920x1080?
