I have a problem sending audio through the digital port on an Audigy. I'm trying to connect it to a my MidiLand system, but I get no sound. I use a wire that has one of those headphone type of plug at one end and at the other end it's a regular RCA plug(the MidiLand has optical and coaxial inputs).
When I choose "Digital Output Only" under the advanced volume control, I still get no sound. Does anyone know why? I know that the cable is working cuz I tested it by plugging it into my disc man to a tv(I was able to hear sound). Thanks.

i have the audigy.
I have never tried this cuz midi equipment is expensive but this is what i do know-
You have 2 MIDI inputs.
One of the midi inputs is ALSO the Line 2 input as well.
Make sure you have both of those unmuted and volume up.
Now the other midi in looks similar to an s-video connection. Your audigy should have came with 2 adapter wires for this port as it has the same port as the MIDI out. Try those out too and also, make sure they are unmuted and vol up
