Hi just wonder if anyone can clear this up for me?
When encoding with TMPG to PAL mpg2 my source files are Divx compressed avi video file & extracted wav for the audio file.
Now when I was creating the source avi I chose quite a high bitrate for the audio, basically what I want to know is, does using a lower/higher quality(bitrate) audio file put any less/more strain on the converting process and as a result make and difference to picture quality or frame smoothness.
Your thoughts would be appreciated......
Cheers

Hello pal,
When encoding the audio in a lower bitrate, the only results are:
1. Audio track quality is lower, the audio will sound poorer.
2. File size is smaller.
Take care
