  2. I have the same problem and was unable to find any info after a message search.

Brand new Sony DVP-NC600, Plextor PleXWriter 24/10/40A and Easy CD Creator 5.0. I've tired 3 different brands of CD-R's and they all give the "C:13" messsgae that the disk is dirty, when trying to play.

I tried a CD-RW, but Easy CD says it can only burn it as a Audio CD, does it need to be formated first?

Anyone found a fix for this problem with Sony's?

Can someone recommned a different brand of a 5 disk changer player that isn't a flaky as Sony?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. I did some testing last night and was able to get CD-R and CR-RW (had to use Nero for the CD-RW) to work when burned at 4X. The CD-R's that were unsucessful were burned at 24X. I'm going to burn a few more at increasing speeds to find a max burn speed.
