when i open these in avidemux i get a prompt that asks me to convert or not convert which could result in frame accuracy problems. if i choose no, it continues to load the files but then crashes. so i choose to convert when i open the files. i chose append to add the second file after the first. i have my format option set to MP4 and audio/video set to copy. when i save the file, then open it, i notice that the audio and video are not synced properly.

does anyone know what i'm doing wrong ?

  2. Try a nightly build (2.6 beta build) , they work better with h.264 than the 2.5.x branch

    http://avidemux.razorbyte.com.au/

    or
    http://avidemux.org/nightly/win32/

alternatively you can try appending in mp4box (yamb) or mkvtoolnix (re-wrap into mkv)

thanks for the suggestion, i tried yamb and it didn't want to output correctly, it kept crashing. i'll try a beta build of avidemux, but should i be using a 64 bit or 32 bit build ?

  5. been a while since this thread, there are updated builds of Avidemux 2.6 for windows, has anyone experienced any issues with the latest build (7800) ?
i am using 2.6 because it works well with combining MP4 movies that i make with ripbot using h264 and aac audio.

    the build i'm on now is 7652, 2.6.0 ...

I don't get why 2.6 is a beta vs 2.5 is the stable version. 2.5 is NOT stable in comparison to 2.6.

I've experienced that with previous versions ... just downloaded the newest build of 2.6. I'll try it later today.
