I'm not currently on the computer I have the program installed on so I'm goin off the dome here. I import the video then choose the format type from the drop menus on the left side. I hit ctrl+s, when the save dialog box comes up all it allows me to save the file as is "all files". I save it and it leaves an unrecognizble file. any help?

  7. do you have extensions visible on your computer ?

you need to enter the extension. e.g. if you were using format=>avi on the left side menu. you would use "video.avi" in the save box, then push enter

if you were using mkv for format, then type in "video.mkv".... I'm sure you get the idea

  9. You can rename the file you saved already -- just add the extension.
