I have a movie saved as 32 avi files, each about 4GB's,total 117GB's. What can I use to join them into one file?

  2. If audio and video settings and codecs are identical VirtualDub or AviDemux. The latter is a little more forgiving of slight differences.

Virtulal Dub won't work, even though all the files are 1920x1080 it keeps saying there a different size and won't append them. I used the append file option in Avidemux,it transferred the files but it didn't merge them,it kept them separate.

You can add the files into mkvmerge and output them in mkv container format.

I downloaded the most recent version of Virtual Dub and it allowed me to join all the avi's into one file. What I didn't know was that Virtual Dub will automatically add all the files. Select the first file, then select direct stream copy, then "append" the second file and the program automatically adds all the files. Then select save as avi and it saved as one file,in my case it was 119GB's.
