  1. i'm using ulead dvd-moviefactory to create dvd's with simple menues.
it works nice but there is one problem: when using chapterpoints there
will be a pause when playing in a standalone player (not with a software player), this is very annoying (especially when i burn live concerts or movies).

is there a solution for this?
    thanks & regards

  2. Nope, no way around this with the Ulead product. What you need
to do is create chapter entrypoints within a single MPG file (rather than
burning multiple MPG files as you are doing). I think the
best app to do this is VCDEasy and it's free, but it doesn't
make menus. TSCV, also free, will make menus though and
solves the problem (but is not easy to use IMO).

  3. Like VCDDude said there will always be a pause between tracks. You can use the Ulead software but you need your movie to be one long MPEG. Then make entrypoints/chapters within it.

  4. thnx for the replies,
but as i stated in my first post: i'm creating DVD's (pioneer dvra03)
    and not VCD or SVCD.
i am using entry- or chapterpoints in one big mpeg-file and got this problem (only with my standalone player, yamaha dvds520) and not with a software based player.

  7. I use DVD MovieFactory to author and burn DVDs on a Pioneer A03 and I get no pause at the chapter entry points when play on my Sony, Panasonic, or Apex stand-alone DVD players. The only place I get a pause is between multiple-segments. This is not much help.
