hi,
does anyone know of any freeware that will allow me to view the timeline in "frameshot" manner of an mpeg2 (vob) file?
i'm trying to quickly identify places where there are commercials and subsequently cut/remove them...
VirtualDub_MPEG, mpg2cut2, mpeg Streamclip, etc can do it but I need to go frame by frame to locate where the commercials are... if there's a timeline of the "frameshot", i can easily scroll left / right to locate them...
thanks !

Cuttermaran. But you have to demux to elementary streams first. It has a quick jump feature that allows you to easily spot where the commercials are.

I use DVD Shrink in re-author mode to cut commercials. Well, you actually have to pick what you want to save...

Also for me Tmpgenc Mpeg Editor is the program of choice for precise MPEG editing.

OK - I've not noticed any such problems. Probably own players not affected by this.
