There are a lot of programs that can convert ogm to ipod formats, but a lot of ogm files have two or more language audio tracks. one is japanese and the other is english. so all the programs I know convert the file with japanese and give no option to record the second track of english.

IS there a program to convert ogm files to ipod and choose which language track to convert with the video. ANy program , I'll even pay for one.

  2. Virtualdubmod. Demux the audio streams into separate files. Encode them and the video separately, then mux them all together with YAMB.

(Or use a program that can add more than one audio track)

Of course, with VirtualDubMod, you can also delete the audio track you don't want, and then use whatever software you've been using to convert the OGM for your iPod.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

Unnecessary. Virtualdubmod can only save as AVI. The entire file would have to be re-encoded.

After disabling the audio stream you want, go to File > Save As... Then, in the Save As window, use the Save as type: dropdown to change the output to OGM. All you have to do after that is save the file (with video set to Direct Stream Copy).

Hmm... I thought Virtualdub could only as a AVI. Have I missed this or did they add it in a recent update ("Recent"= 1.5 years as I haven't really updated Virtualdub for that long :P)

    It's only possible in VirtualDubMod.
(Well, okay, I only have version 1.5.10.2 of VDubMod and the latest VirtualDub installed on this system, so I can't say offhand if any of the other variants do it. Virtualdub-MPEG2 might, I'd have to see.)
