Never really played with this before but now that the Xbox360 can play divx/xvid and disk space is relatively inexpensive I'm trying to convert my movie collection avi and use my PC as a media server.
First few movies I did went without issue. A little playing with vob2mpg and virtualdub and I was golden. Then I realize I hadn't watched Star Wars in years. So, figured I tackle that next.
However, no matter what method I've tried (which usually boils down to vob2mpeg/vdub or autogk) I can't figure out how to stop getting the english/spanish/french version of the opening "A long time ago..." and the scrolling story. I believe this is the only thing left for me to solve to get the subtitles at the right time.
I've tried using the different angles but that didn't seem to help. I've read through the Star Wars conversion thread but nothing has come up. I'm probably just not searching for the right phrase.
