I use TMPGEnc DVD Author to open the VIDEO_TS folder I have previously copied to the PC's hard drive. I edit the track to remove unwanted material. Now, the track is made up of individual clips. I re-author the DVD and create a DVD-R which plays fine on my home Panasonic DVD player. However, I see a second pause between the end of one clip and the beginning of the next at the place where I had edited (removed) the material I did not want. Is there a way to prevent the pause? I am looking for a continuous, uninterrupted playback. If I edit the track using the Panasonic home recorder and I create a DVD-R using the Panasonic, I do not see the pause where the removed material was.

    Thank you,

    Edwin

I overlooked to mention I have an extensive library of freeware/shareware and commercial products. I would try different tools if it would solve the problem.

You may find that TDA has created a chapter point at the cut. If you delete this, or alternatively move it a couple of frames either side, you should see the pause disappear.
    If in doubt, Google it.
