Hello. Thanks for reading my post.

This is what I want to do: Add a MIDI track to an ordinary DVD movie.

Basically what I want to do is to add a MIDI track to an ordinary DVD format so that the MIDI track will be played back together with the movie. Is this possible?
Please note that I do not need any special "karaoke" features (no lyrics etc.) All I need is simply adding a MIDI track so that the MIDI track will be played back "in sync"with the movie. I will playback this DVD only in computer via software players such as PowerDVD or WinDVD.

Or adding MIDI track to ordinary DVD format is simply not possible?
Or it is possible but the MIDI track will not be played back?
If I need a MIDI track in DVD that will play together with the movie, the only way is to author the DVD in karaoke format?

If so, what authoring software will do the job?
What is the difference between ordinary format and karaoke format?
Where do I get detailed information on Karaoke format?
Is there a limitation in lengh of video in Karaoke format? (I need to fit in standard 1 to 2 hour video: Again, what I need is not a karaoke DVD but a normal DVD. Normal in every sense except it should have a MIDI track that should play together with the video)

For your expert help, I'll be happy to paypal thank you fee (Just let me know please)
    Thank you.

No, midi is not valid as DVD audio. In fact, midi isn't audio at all, just instructions for electronic instruments (which a computer can mimic) for what and how to play. Much like a note sheet for live musicians. I think there are some midi-to-wav "converters" you can use to get a valid DVD audio source from your midi file.

To do this would require a proprietary format. You cannot even mux midi signals into any of the standard video containers.

It just needs something to convert it , most output to wav , then encode wav using besweet to ac3 or other .
