Hi...can someone please help. I am new to using tempgenc authoring works 4 and successfully used it to edit together some multi-cam avi footage of a band. Have only done 1 song so far and not going any further until I figure this out...
My question is: now I have edited clips together, can I get a copy of this? So I don't just want to put it on a DVD, I want to have an avi file (or similar) that contains my multi-cam edits. Is this possible? If not, could someone please point me in the right direction (perhaps some suitable freeware which may do the trick)?

    Thank-you in advance!
    Yvonne

If you want to use tmpgenc authoring works you could output to divx video and then rename the .divx to .avi and it should work fine if you have divx codec installed.

But I think it would be better to use an editor if you want to export different formats. Windows Movie Maker might be enough, and export to dv-avi(that you make an dvd from later) or wmv(that you can put on the web and similar). Other good editors are Ulead VIdeoStudio, Premiere Elements, Vegas Movie Studio.
