On VCDHELP's guide on how to convert divx to svcd is says the following:
Configure the Advanced:
Select Source Aspect Ratio select 1:1 (VGA) (if your source is in 4:3 select 4:3 525 line(NTSC) for NTSC and 4:3 625 line(PAL) for PAL).
and under Video Arange Method Full screen(keep aspect ratio).
I am confused on which ratio to use if i dont know what the aspect ratio is of the film i am encoding (i get them of the net)
Is there a way on finding out what the aspect ratio is of a certain file, so that i can select the right one.
Thanks in advance
Benny!

If the source is divx just select 1:1(VGA) and full screen[keep aspect ratio].
