    I am converting 16:9 mpeg output from Sony SR200 HDD camcorder to WMV (or divx) using tmpgenc express 4.
    I selected NTSC wide in the settings. But the final output loses the aspect ratio and defaults to 4:3

    Any idea ? Thanks,

    works fine,

    i'd guess you're not correctly setting the aspect ratio of the input clip
