  1. Please could someone help. I have 3 avi`s and want to join them together but when i use virtual dub it say that the video streams have different data formats. I have looked at the frame size and they are all different but the rate is the same 25 fps. The data rate are also different but the audio is ok. Is there any way i can join these file together.
    Thanks in advance

IMHO you'd be best converting two of the AVIs to the same specs as the 3rd AVI if you want to join them properly.

Is your goal just to join them and leave it as one AVI, or will you then convert to VCD/SVCD/DVD ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

If your goal is DVD, then you don't need to join the AVIs first - simply convert each AVI to DVD-compliant MPEG (hint: use a bitrate calculator to assist you) and then use your authoring software to join them. The result will be much better for a number of reasons, such as audio synch, and the retaining of as much quality as possible.
    If in doubt, Google it.
