Hi guys I need some help in finding a PC based solution for coverting quicktime files i.e. .mov to mpeg and aiff to in wav. The mpeg files need to be dvd compliant so I can take them in DVD authoring software. Previously I used Sonic DVD transcoder but we are trying to faze out the mac's and find a pc solution. Info about Sonic dvd transcoder is found below so you know what I had before,

any info would be helpful

most windows mpeg encoders prefer the avi container instead of mov container.
you could use quicktime pro and export to dv avi, huffyuv avi, uncompressed avi and then use any encoder.
or change to avi container on your mac, see https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=277983 -
its a pretty time sensative job and we need minimum time spent transferring files from mov to avi to mpeg. I suppose if they come in .mov then using the batch process of sonic dvd transcoder is the quickest way

Install QuicktimePro, then install either Sorenson Squeeze or Canopus Procoder.
Both can do batch, both can accept QT files (with the various available or installable QT codecs) and both can output MPEG.
