I received some boxing matches on dvd-r, the volume is very low.
How can I increase the volume ?

You have to rip the VOB files to your hard drive, demux the audio from the video, load the audio into an editing program and increase the volume, then remux the audio and video streams, then re-author the DVD.
Goldwave or Audacity are good freeware audio editors you can try.
Might be lots easier to just turn up the volume on the TV or receiver. -
What free programs can you use to demux video from the audio and then remux the streams?
