converted an avi file to dvd using winavi (i just need a quick conversion while my divx capable player is being repaired, and need to get this file to a standard dvd). everything worked fine, but winavi output a vob file that was over 3 gb. problem is nero won't burn .vob files over 2 gb.

any advice as to what freeware is out there that will either divide the .vob file into smaller files, or burn the larger file to a compatible dvd? i guess worst case scenario is that i will encode at a lower quality to keep the vob file under 2 gb. . .

    thanks,
    d

Use the WINAVI split output file option and voila! (I can't give a direct path to this option as I am @ work but it is on one of the 2 tabs if you select advanced before starting the conversion)
