Ok, I want a picture to display for about 5 secs and then fade out. So I made it with an animation program and saved it as .avi. It works perfectly and so does the other avi I want to attach it to.

The only problem is when I try to join them in VirtualDub and Mod I can't because they don't have the same Frame Rate.

I went back to the program to see if there was a Frame Rate option and there was. But, it can only be whole numbers and the Frame Rate of the video is 23.976.

I don't know how to change the picture avi's Frame Rate to 23.976.

    Any help?

You can type in 23.976,it isnt whole numbers only. You will have to save the clip in direct stream copy mode before you can join again.

No I mean, in the animation program I use to make the picture avi. I'm using animation shop and it only lets you enter whole numbers for the frame rate.

Is there any other program or something?

Just enter 24 and change it with virtualdub to 23.976 .Virtualdub/video/framerate is where you change the framerate, remember to save in direct stream copy.

  6. Use AVIFrate to change both files to the same frame rate.
