  1. I am trying to remove a logo from a file. I can't figure out how to get virtualdub logo and subtitle remover to load and work in the filters. Can anyone help? Go slow if you can help

What is your problem - loading the filter, or getting it to work ?

To load it, make sure it is in your Virtualdub plugins directory. Start up virtualdub and load your clip. The, on the menu bar, Video -> Filters. Click on Add and select your filter from the list. It should open with the settings page if there are any.

After that, read the help file / readme file / author's web page to get the specifics on the plugin.

And no, it doesn't remove it completely, of course there is no way to restore what's underneath it.

    Hello,

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=232456&highlight=delogo

That thread covers the "delogo" plugin filter for vdub. It is similar to the built in one. It does a very good job. BUT it's not perfect. As mentioned you can't completely remove a logo. You can get good results if its a small logo AND if it's not animated.

    Worth experimenting with though...
