Using ffmpegx 0.0.9s, when encoding AVI file to DVD 16:9 with manual letterboxing, final aspect ratio is way off target (stretches vertically with padding top and bottom). Anyone else finding this?
When Decoding with Quicktime everything OK (just takes twice as long!)
Also, when trying to passthough Dolby Digital audio using ffmpeg engine, it appears to export audio track as WAV and then gives an error in Terminal...

Your letterboxing issue sounds like it could be the same thing I've been seeing.
Try redoing your encode with a small clip to test. Leave all your settings as before, but turn off Normalize audio in the audio tab. What makes me think you have Normalize on is that normalize does a wave export before encoding to ac3.
