I was using Vegas Pro 8. When exporting I would using specific settings for vimeo. The results gave me a nice 1280 by 720 video.
I decided to upgrade to Windows 7 and CS4. Getting used to using CS4 and have an issue getting a proper 1280 by 720 clip. It always exports with letter boxing. I don't see anywhere during the encoding portion that allows me to change this.

While I export at 1280 by 720 in CS4 the video file shows up at the bottom download as 1280 by 980...I don't know why. Can someone help?

Your link is dead.
Did you export with square pixels? Hit the output preview tab in AME in the left pane to see if there are no black borders before exporting. If there is, you have set something incorrectly.
If you still can't figure it out, provide more information like a screenshot of your settings, project settings, etc.. -
I fixed the link...
I think I figured it out. I used different settings this time around for output. I'm still not sure where the boxing settings are though.SmileSmile
