    alright, I had some .avi divx files and I used tmpg to make a dvd complient .mpg and there is no sound.. none on the .mpg or the burned dvd I made... also, the picture gets funny thick block lines across it sometimes. any idea wtf i done wrong?

    1. Identify WTF you have
    2. a) Extract the audio of WTF you have if WTF you have is VBR MP3 audio, then convert as per 2. b)
    2. b) Convert the audio of WTF you have if WTF you have is not VBR MP3 audio
    3. Convert the Video of WTF you have to a DVD-compliant video
    4. Let your authoring software join together the video part of WTF you have which you encoded in 3. with the audio part of WTF you have which you extracted/converted in 2.
    5. Burn WTF you just authored.

    If in doubt, Google it.

    man, the WTF are throwing me off.. lmao, whut i read on the TMPG templet that it was going to convert the audio for me possibly... when i loaded the videos into tmpg dvd author, and it said i didn't have an ac-3 codec, could that be the problem? thx man.
