After waiting for 6 hours download a file someone had saved for me,
i come to find out it was saved using some program called Alcahol [sp]
on the PC. It's supposed to be a bin/cue image, but Toast won't read it...
what the heck is this, and how do I open it to burn it!?!?

Ok, never mind answered my own question.
Did a quick forum search , I see it is another in the long line
of Screwed up PC formats that do not work correctly.
A bastard version of "bin/cue" if you will.
I brought up Toast 6,
and selected "image file" on the "Copy" tab,
and then I dragged and dropped the .mdf file onto
the window.
It read it as a UDF Bridge DVD.
I clicked Mount to create a mountable image,
and it unpacked everything ( VOBs, BUPs, IFOs)
and I'm testing now with DVD Player.
Hopefully, it will burn throughly enough.
