  1. Greetings,

    I have a playback problem. When i burn a movie onto a DVD+R
with CloneDVD2 my playback will Jitter or skip to another scene or chapter on my DVD player. I switched DVD players and the same thing happens. I tried diffrent DVD+Rs (Media)and so far no luck. I tried lower my speeds down to 2X and 4x instead of max and no luck there to. I updated my frimeware on my Liteon 8x DVD+rw and doesnt seem to fix the problem. This happens with all my movies. I have win2k 256 rdram and 1.7ghz processor, 30gb 7200rpm Hard Drive. Im left with no clue on how to fix this problem. I just formatted my drive and reinstalled everything. I will try it again with a new OS and reinstallation of DVDclone.

    Please post any ideas.

    Thanks
    H

  2. What media changes have you made? Tell us what you are using. It could be bad media.

Does the original movie do the same thing?

If you notice the dvd skipping and go back to before it started to skip, does it skip in the same place everytime?

How old are your dvd players you tried playing the dvd on. My hitatchi (4 years old) will jump and stutter and artifact movies horribly, but the same movie will play fine on my new sony.

Does the movie play okay on your computer?

If you can answer those, that will give a good start to identifying the problem.

Does the movie play okay on your computer? Yes it does. I do notice that the picture will sort of pixelate or gets choppy on the part before it skips.

The movie is Excellent quality. It was a dvd9 split on 2 DVD+rs. It also skips on other parts. It will do this like every 3-6min intervals throught out the movie. I am not running any other applications in the background.

use another dvd burning program like NERO or IMG TOOL BURN. Use DVD SHRINK to compress dvd files then try burning with the above programs. You may also use DVD DECRYPTER to RIP IN FILE MODE then use DVD SHRINK. DVD SHRINK & DVD DECRYPTER are free software.
