  1. unfortunately i installed svcd2dvd as normal user (win xp pro sp1). starting the program i got the shown error message.

    Because i thought about problems with permissions i deinstalled svcd2dvd as normal user and reinstalled the program as administrator. Logged in as administrator svcd2dvd works fine, but logged in as normal user there is the same error message. Thanks for help

  2. Perhaps the programmer has erred in accessing this registry key, trying to open it in read wqrite mode, it can only be opened in "read only" mode unless the user has admin rights.
