Record Now not recognising DVD RW drive GSA 4040B

My GSA 4040B drive appeared to install ok in Win 2K but Record Now v 4.5 (came with drive)only partially recognises its existence.

The RecordNow wizard allows cloning of a CD/R and creation of a Data disk however the main screen shows all the menu "Drive" options greyed out and there is a pop-up at RecordNow application launch which states that no suitable drive was found.

Unable therefore to create any DVDs or use the Ram drive options.

The drive indicates A301 firmware (no changes by me)
the Stomp website is poor in information, anyone any ideas?

The main program does not recognize the 4040 but I'm able to burn DVD+RW's with the wizard.

I'm running A302 fw and have the pxEngine507 installed.

I dont think RNM will ever support it so you'd better use Nero 6 with the LG...
