I have recently be using ac3 fix as part of the audio extraction part ov convetrting Xvid's and Divx to DVD. This time ac3fix gave an error indicating that the source could not be read. The following is tjhe file informaton that avicodec indicated:

I'm searching for a way to make this audio readable by ac3fix.
I got to this point by extracting the audio from an AVI using nandub then renaming the extension from wav to ac3 then trying to run ac3fix to make it have the right header. any sugestions will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    VC
    This is so much fun!

You could try virtualdubmod, streams->stream list->demux. Then you usually doesn't need any ac3fixing.
