    Hiya guys.
i recieved an illegal ac3 format with my dvd authoring programme.
so i ran the ac3 audio through ac3 fix, and the fixed audio now does author perfectly fine, but during playback it gives me sync issues.
i checked the runtime of the fixed audio, and i found that there is a whole second shaved of it.

so how can i fix this problem, i have ran ac3fix once before and it gave me no such problems,
    thanks in advance
    regards,
    Mubs

Tru using DelayCut on that file. You should be able to replace the bad spot in the AC3 with silence

but why should i need to 'replace' anything.
the fixed audio file is not long enough to start with, so whatevr i replace the fixed audio will still be the same legnth will it not?

Delaycut lets you add time (i.e., add a delay). So try adding a 1 second delay.

You can also try AC3scale, which lets you stretch or compress the entire track.

Not necessarily. If the fixer app cuts out a glitch that's more than a 1/30 of a second, your AC3 file is going to get smaller. Better to fix the errors, then replace with silence so the length stays exactly the same.
