    I have had a problem with 2 sets I was trying to put onto dvd using svcd2dvd and have had about 5 work ok. I am new to this and am thinking it is due to one of the mpg files. Just need to know how to fix it so I can move on . I have posted one of the logs. Other than this the programme is great. Thanks chrissyboy!

    Looks like a dodgy mpg. What version are you running? In v1.5.2003 there is a mpg fixer which should solve this for you. Also did you start with BINs or MPGs?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    Not sure about bins/mpgs - a newbie - I use isobuster to put them on computer. The source is vcd that play in dvd players so I am presuming mpg. I got dvd2svcd 2/3 weeks ago, is the new version before or after then?
    Thanks

  5. Used the fixing tool - it hasnt worked - still stopped at the same place. I took the file out and left the fixed one - I am presuming thats what you are meant to do. I have attached the log again and the fixing mpg log.
    Thanks

    same problem here, while i NEVER had this before......hmmm
    i used mpex fix to no avail as well.
    also used isobuster to extract the mpeg first (extract mpg stream).
    whats wrong?

  7. Maybe, the MPG File is a bad S/VCD. (Some guys, a creating them very badly)
    You can try this:
    Load the MPG File with TMPGEnc, load the S/VCD Template and let it encode again, so it becomes an working S/VCD MPG File.l
