I have a custom made dvd with added subtiltes. In one episode they dissapear in the middle. When I open dvd in dvdsubedit I can see missing subtitles, but during the missing ones there is no picture. Everything works fine when I switch to orginal (en) subtitles everything works fine

Is there any easy way to fix this?

  2. What do you mean 'no picture'. Are you saying the screen goes black when the subs are supposed to be appearing but is 'normal' when no subs during that period? If so, somehow you managed to make the background opaque when it's supposed to be transparent. You can check to confirm that in DVDSubEdit, and fix it there as well. Or, if you made the subs yourself, go back and fix them.

  4. Did you add the subs? If so, what did you use?

Study the subs - that ones that show and the ones that don't show - in DVDSubEdit, especially the transparancies to try and learn what's different for the ones that don't show up.

    I didn't add subtitles

    Thanks for the tip
Time code is wrong, missing subs starts at 02:47:25, and episode lasts only 45 min. So thats the cause.

Can I synchronize them with original english ones, without reauthoring the whole movie?

    edit:

Ok I'v got subs in place, I thought I canmove them only 10 sec, bu I can write any time there. But there is a problem with VCID they are grouped in 1/5 and should be in 1/3. Where can I change that?

I don't know that it can be easily changed, or that it makes any difference. After changing the times don't they play correctly yet? You might have to demux and remux. This is a fairly simple procedure that doesn't involve doing anything with the menus:
    1. Demux the audio, video, subs, celltimes (PGCDemux)
    2. Remux (Muxman)
    3. Add the remuxed video back to the original, getting back the menus and anything else that might be in the DVD (VobBlanker).
