If I enconde/convert a avi to (s)vcd using CCE only, quality is good but if I use virtualdub to add subs and resize and I frameserve it to CCE the quality drops even if I use CCE's highest quality settings.
Is there a way to overcome that prob?
TMPG works fine for video quality but I get a gradual loss of sync between audio and video.
I want to try another methods/programs to avoid sync probs

I can't speak about CCE....but with TMPGEnc do you first of all extract the audio as a WAV and use as audio source?
That usually solves sync problems."Today is only yesterdays tomorrow"
