  2. simple.

rip side 1 and move the files to a directory 1

rip side 2 and move the files to s directory 2

rename the files in directory 2 as foolows: vts_01_001.vob, _002.vob etc.

open vobedit and join the files in directory 2. make sure the VOBID as requested by vobedit is 1 more than the last vobid in the last vob file in directory 1. Rename the vob files output of vobedit as VTS_01_5.vob, 6.vob (assuming 4.vob was the last file in directory 1).

now run ifoedit and create new ifo files.

run dvd2one. i just did The Pelican Brief & worked perfectly.

    all the best

I've tried working with VOB edit but haven't yet been able to figure out how the whole join thing works. Is there a step-by-step guide of how this works? Do you highlight the last "side 1" vob, then go under the menu and select join and then select the first "side 2" vob?

I messed around with this and failed miserably, so any help would be great.

This is the main site for the author of IFOEdit there are guides there for joining a two sided DVD to one DVDR.
