I'm using a Dazzle "digital video creator" capture box thing (i'm a noob at capturing, can you tell?). Right now, i have to use the special software that shipped with my Dazzle thing to capture the video from my camcorder. Ideally, i'd like to be able to click "Capture" in adobe premiere 6.5 and have it work, but it won't work. Can you use a Dazzle capture (card?) to capture the video from a camcorder to adobe premiere? Or is dazzle to cheap of a capture card to work with Premiere?
Thanks for any input!

I think what you'll have to do is double-check to see what the Dazzle thing creates on capture: Microsoft .avi or Mpeg1 or 2. I don't think the new Premiere version will accept an MPEG file, so that might be your problem. You could also go to the dazzle website and see if there's a patch or update that will make it work with different editing programs.
