Hi, I recently made a DVD disc with about 30 Music clips with a music menu on it. I'm very happy with the end result but there is one slight problem. Sometimes at the end of a video clip before it goes onto the next one there is a 30-45 second pitch black picture that appears on the screen. What could be causing this or what is it ??
    Any ideas.
    Thanks.

Hi ChrissyBoy, when i add the video clips i make a new VTS for each clip.
So if i had 30 clips then i have 30 VTS. Should i just put the 30 in one VTS?
    Thanks

30 in one VTS would make them play seamlessly, but if they have wildly different properites then you may have some problems.

I assume you are using the play all button on the menu? If so then at the moment after each clip you are coming back to the menu b4 going to the next clip. Different players will take different lengths of time to do this.... What is it like on the PC?

Hey Chris, when you say wildly different properties, does this refer to the fact that i am mixing both Ntsc and Pal SVCD clips together on the one DVD, thus causing the problem?

Yes i am using the play all button, so it doesn't go back to the menu after each video. I'll have to play it in my PC like you said and see if it still happens.[/quote]

Yes you need PAL and NTSC stuff on different TitleSets...

Play All does in fact go back to the menu only you don't see it. But in terms of the actual delay it may still be significant.
