  1. I need some help. First I'm new and about an hour ago, I posted a Private Message or Thread. Sorry.
I now figured it out. I have been converting "You Tube" Music Videos or files to MP3.
I use www.clipconverter.cc However, if I try to convert one of my You Tube Files or a convert a VH1 file to MP3, it says "Invalid Link". Is there anyone who can help me. I would be greatly appreciative. I also tried AVS, but I had no luck there. In clipconverter, I type in the http: with You Tube and click on convert and it converts it to an MP3.
    Thanks,

For Youtube directly, Any Video Converter is probably the simplest solution. For other video sites I would suggest Video Download Helper and Firefox, then use Any Video Converter to convert the file you have downloaded.

Actually, the simplest would probably be: for YouTube, at least, download the FLV version of a video with the downloader of your choice, then run it through FLV Extract. That'll get you an MP3 of the video's sound stream, with no re-encoding.

It might work with MP4s downloaded from YouTube and elsewhere, too, I don't know. I haven't tried it.

  4. You may try Pazera Free Audio Extractor 1.3
    Download link : http://www.pazera-software.com/products/audio-extractor/

This free application that extracts audio tracks from video files without loss of sound quality or convert them to MP3, AAC, AC3, WMA, FLAC, OGG or WAV format. The application supports all major video formats (AVI, FLV, MP4, MPG, MOV, RM, 3GP, WMV, VOB and other)

Hopefully your purpose might be served.

  5. Thanks so much everyone. I appreciate your help. I thought that sites like MTV or VH1's Music Videos had something in them to prevent people from converting them. There are so many tracks such as MP3, AAC,FLAC etc. When you open the video whether it is a "You Tube" video or an "MTV" Video, can you determine what type of file it is? If so, does that determine how you are going to convert it. Do you just type in the http address of the video on most of the converters?

  6. OK. I'm lost. I tried "Pazera". I had an "MTV" and a "You Tube Music video" on my Desktop. I opened Pazera, clicked on "Add Files" in Pazera. It loaded the music videos and then I clicked on "Convert". I received an error message saying, Error, no such file or directory. When I first clicked on "Add Files" my Desktop folder opened. I typed the name of the Music Videos in and they were added to Pazera. Now, in my Desktop Folder is a Drop Down Box with a million types of music or video files you can choose from. I just presumed using "All Supported Files would include any file I wanted to convert. "All Supported Files." I'm doing something wrong. Could someone tell me what it is?
    Thanks, ptfitzy

  7. I am glad I ran into this thread. I just download Any Video Converter. It's so simple to extract audio (from the downloaded FLV file) to MP3 directly. The MP3 file can be copied to my MP3 player and it plays , no sweat. GREAT TOOL.
I will try to convert some video later. I have been using WinFF converter, but it cannot extract audio to MP3 like this.
I have a lot of music videos and have been looking for ways to burn the songs into CD or put them in my MP3 player.
    THIS IS THE TOOL.
