When converting my captured Huffuyv files to VCD using TMPG it takes soo long, longer then usual AVI converts. Im guessing coz the AVIs are like HUGE. Anyway on speeding this up?

One of the main reasons a Huffyuv source takes a bit longer to encode is that it is optimised (speed wise) for compression rather than decompression.
My computer can compress to HUFFYUV faster than real-time but has a great deal of trouble trying to approach 10fps on playback. This primariliy is what is causing the delay, TMPGEnc must first uncompress the video and then compress again into MPEG.
Even so, when I re-encode I don't see the dramatic time increase which you mention in the post. Ensure that you don't have unnecessary filters turned on in TMPGEnc and switch the "Motion Search Estimate" from highest to high. (Most people here will tell you there is little difference between the two).
If the time really is an issue, you might like to try capturing to MJPEG (www.picvideo.com) with a quality setting of 19 or 20.
