Ok lemme say im a newb to the vcd thing.
I followed the tutorial on the site about burning with tmpgenc. I then followed the tutorial on burning a vcd with nero. Although nero gave me some error message about it was the wrong format or something and it wanted me to encode the file differently, what does this mean and should i just let nero do it or what?

it just wants to reencode your mpeg so it is not vcd compliant personally i would not let nero do it as usually the results are pretty horrific if vcd plays or i end up with nothing but a green screen on playback spend the time to go over everything double check you settings encode your file again if you have to as we have all found out it is all trial and error

Subeo, if possible, just burn it to a CD-RW and test it. NERO always complains about my VCD's yet I burn them anyway, and have yet to have a single problem.
But ^#@#^ is right, don't let NERO do any encoding...
