Well, I tryed to rip the sound from avi 23.9 framerate, and convert it to wav. Well that work good, but when i convert the movie to 25 PAL, i get the problem. I can't syncronice the sound with the movie. Have tryed the besweet thing, and maked the sound from 23.9 to 25, but then i only get Donald Duck noises. Normaly when i rip the sound from an avi and convert it to wav, then to ac3 5.1, there are no problem, but with this there is.
Anyone who can help me?
Trying to make an DVD from the avi. Have convert the movie with tmpgenc and ripped the sound with river sound, then convert it from wav to ac3 with maven3d. Non from the sounds (wav ore ac3) are syncroniced.

Try WavWorks for 23.976 to 25 fps conversions. That's what I use...

Nope, it's a Java app. A real speed demon when it comes to making a wav shorter (compared to i.e. GoldWave).
You download it as a jar, then type "java -jar WavWorks.jar" from the command prompt to start it (if your system isn't set up to start a jar with Java by just doubleclicking on it).
Of course you've got to have Java runtime installed...
I think it's fairly well documented on the download page.

Well I think I re-post the below for the very last time now:
One of the reasons audio and video is out of sync is caused by the DVD player not being fast enough to handle the bitrate.
This specially happens when you create your own video (not just copying a DVD movie to another DVD), and (re-)mpeg it. As you probably want to get the highest quality possible, the codec will generate a file with a very high bitrate. Many (stand alone) DVD players simply cannot handle these high bitrates.
At least that's what I found out after going completely crazy and blaming my software, my burner, my TV, etc! I always thought that it couldn't be my DVD player, as it would play copies of DVD movies (burned on the same media) without a problem.
So, try to find a setting to limit the bitrate.
Good luck!
